This season marked my final season as a GM in Coast2Coast. It has been a great run, but I recently got married and now we are house shopping, on top of me coaching hockey, working full time and starting my own marketing firm.
I've had a ton of fun getting to know you guys, and winning that cup last year was the pinnacle in my sims career. Building this Minnesota team up from nothing, into a perennial contender has been an awesome journey. I'd like to thank Cranker for always helping me out when I started, and I'd like to thank Blue for being consistent and quick with his simming.
To everyone else, thank you for getting to know me and dealing with my BS offers that sometimes turned into good trades.
To Jack Hughes and Xavier Parent, I couldn't have done it without either of these stars. My only request in retiring is that these two are never separated, as they are the best 1-2 punch in the league (IMO).
For the immediate future I will be hanging up the figurative skates. I will likely be back in a couple months if the league is still going. Just need to wait for the craziness to die down.
And here's my bid for the Hall of Fame. 3 straight Presidents Trophy's, 1 Calder Trophy, 1 Runner up for Calder, the 2nd best record over the past 5 seasons, and finally, the crown jewel, the Lord Stanley's Cup last season.
Thanks for all the fun guys, I'm sure I'll be seeing you guys again.
BTW If you play NHL 19 on xbox, add me GT: The Meat Head.
