Since it's a pain in the ass to get to the AHL limit, and we clearly have an abundance of AHL level players in their early to mid 30s, I think we should begin to allow the junior players to count towards this limit and allow them to play some NHL games if need be. With this said, I think we can use the same junior format. Be clear with who you are sending down, and if he plays it's not a big deal.
With this said, with junior players 74-79, you must be clear with what your intentions are. If you send the player down and he plays 10-40 games or whatever, it won't matter. His upgrade will be based on a juinor randomizer. If you do not send the player down and he plays, his NHL stats will count. We will see at what point you sent the player down to juniors.
Also, I think we should allow trading picks 3 years down the road. Think it'll help trades and real teams do it all the time.
