It's getting to the point where nobody with a NMC ever rejects a trade. I feel like we need to either remove NMC's, or we need to set a minimum time limit before they can get dealt.
For example, let's say I signed Xavier Parent to an 8 year, 12M NMC. I shouldn't be able to trade him for MINIMUM one full season after the contract kicks in. This gives NMC's value and also prevents someone from leveraging PR into signing a lower contract because you add in a NMC.
Not sure how you guys all feel, but IMO it's getting to a point where we need to do something about them, or just scrape the idea.

If 8 years was negotiated it would be atleast 4 years before they can be traded. Some teams negotiate NMC's just to get cheaper deals and to me that is crazy as they mean nothing at all. I won't negotiate them unless I absolutley have to.
